Sorry guys for the delayed update. Here is a quick recap of Monday and Tuesday Lange events:

06/16/08
-Artie started off the show discussing his appearance on Letterman last week, noting that Sirius VP Scott Greenstein had asked him to give Dave one of Sirius’ Stiletto radios for Father’s Day. Artie said the idea was turned down by Letterman’s producers, as a gift presentation generally kills the show’s momentum, so he settled with plugging Sirius at the end of the interview. Artie also confessed that he was so nervous about his appearance, he stained his shirt with stomach sweat.

-A caller asked if Artie’s date with Tracy (May’s Miss HowardTV) went well, and Artie said it did. Artie brought her along to the Letterman taping, but not without difficulty: “I had my female assistant call her…It’s awkward having a female trim coordinator.” Artie added that it worked out
well, particularly after Sir Ben Kingsley asked to meet him. After his appearance, Artie and Tracy exchanged numbers, and she’s since texted or called him three times: “We made arrangements to have dinner.”

-Gange called in to say he was into Tracy and was still going to try for her, despite Artie’s own efforts – so Artie backed out: “I’m gonna take myself out of this. Gange can go for her.” Howard angrily admonished Gange for calling
dibs on a chick he never had the guts to ask out: “Inform us of every chick you meet so I can alert my audience to stay away from her.” Doug Goodstein then came in to note that the issue was moot, as she not only has a boyfriend – she has a live-in boyfriend.

side note*** Is it just me or was Artie out of it today. The first 2 hrs of the show I thought he was’nt even there today!

-Gary told the crew about an event that took place in the Sirius lobby yesterday for Emeril Lagasse’s appearance on “At Martha’s Table.” Gary laughed that he saw one of the “Martha Stewart Living” producers frantically ironing tablecloths in preparation for Martha’s arrival. After Gary noted that Emeril’s food had been served, Artie complained he wasn’t invited to the event: “Why couldn’t I just sit there and eat his cooking?”

-Howard welcomed the new Miss HowardTV, Christine, to the studio but warned Gange off, as she’s came in today with her husband. Howard asked Christine why she has a
pay-per-view Website that doesn’t show her naked, so Christine explained that she does “subtle nudity” – like chocolate ice cream covering her naughty bits. Christine told the crew that she’s also a big fan of shaved balls: “When I lick them, I don’t want any stubble.”
